Victoria falls day

Differences between Sweden and Zimbabwe

Hey guys i in Sweden again, i came home the day before yesterday, and just relaxed took a bath and went to sleep because i got home kind of late.

Well, the differences between Sweden and Zimbabwe is enormous, Zimbabwe is in a whole different continent and a more poor continent.

Thew wildlife in Sweden sucks, because we don't have as much animals as they have in Zimbabwe, in Zimbabwe they have a lot of national parks, as i said in one of the posts that i visited one of them. In sweden we don't have any except Skansken and Kolmården when i think about it.

I wouldn't say that they wear different clothes, but they have a different style, they wear jeans but in different colors, it's hard to explain. But i really like their styles i respect it, women wears a type of dress at home, but a more relaxing dress.

In Sweden we wear more over class clothes, but it depends on where you live and of course your lifestyle but for example if you live on Östermalm you're probably very classy and if you live in Rinkeby your probably a bit less classy.

Zimbabwe has a president who is almost as a dictator, he's like Donald Trump. He takes the money from the citizens, and from the companies and etc. So their streets are very poor, they are destroyed some of them aren't even asphalt any more.

But in Sweden we have a king who can't rule anything he just sits there almost doing nothing for us, but ill guess that's how it is to be a king.

Zimbabwe got twice as much people as we in Sweden has, that's kinda of crazy because there is not a big difference between our size, Zimbabwe is like a circle but Sweden is more like a stick. But i think that Zimbabwe is more packed, because Africa is a continent with a lot of countries wile Sweden is just a country.

In Zimbabwe they got the water fall which i visited, the Victoria falls it amazing, and i can defentily tell you that we do not have that big waterfalls here in Sweden this water fall is like 50 times bigger than ours.

If i would compare human rights in Zimbabwe compared to human rights in Sweden i'd say that Zimbabwe has a much bigger problem with it, back in the days in the 20's Zimbabwe was called Southern Rhodesia, Zimbabwe was rouled by brittish whites, they treated the Africans like shit, they used them as slaves as you already probably knew, they showed no respect and that's so awful i don't really wanna talk about it.

In Sweden we have a problem with equality for women, they get less paid than men, they're getting treated worse, some of them gets raped and after that femenism got big in Sweden because they wanna make a change, in Sweden we got a party called FI ( Femenistiska insiativet) who wants it to be more equal in Sweden.

Also about the disease Aids, aids is a big problem in Zimbabwe but bigger in other countries in Africa, that's because they're poor, they can't afford clean water, some of them takes drugs with used needles so they'll get filthy blood which will get them aids, they also has unprotected sex. They haven't got any medecines to cure aids, but they're trying as good as they can to help cure it and other countries are helping them as well but its hard.

Back in the days around the 80's aids was a big problem for homosexuals, there's a series called "Torka aldrig tårar utan handksar written by Jonas Gardell which is a homosexual author. It came to Sweden from other countries, but it wasn't a big problem for the heterosexuals, and i don't have the answer for that then it got called "Bög pesten" because only gays got it. But then later on we got a medicine which slows down the disease, so as we all know HIV develops Aids, and in Sweden we can stop people from getting aids but you can't stop HIV. it will stay in your body for ever.

And if you didn't know Zimbabwe has more then 90% black people.

In Bulawayo

This morning i went to Bulawayo which is the second biggest city of Zimbabwe behind Harere the capital. It was really fun being out in bulawayo, fine weather cool buildings. I thought to myself wouldn't itbe cool to buy some clothes? Of course it would, so i wnt to a affair and tested the clothes, when i was about to purschase the items i saw the price, i litterly said WOW! It was so expensive, if you'd compare this to Sweden this was about to times more expensive. So i bought a  pair of jeans, to have a memory for, but i actually never wore them. But i still think it wasworth buying them. Later on i went to a internet cafe, they said that they had super fast internet, well i went to a computer i wasa old one, every computer in there was like from the 90's, well so i wrotein a password they said you had to do, and the computerjust started lagging, i tried to log on facebook but it wouldn't let me, so i gave it abou five times but as i thought it wouldn't work, and i didn't tell anyone from the staff about it because i didn't wanna get in to trouble because they may think that it was my fault. However later on again i went to a resturant who had real american pancakes and suprisingly i didn't like it, well i think it was the sirup it had a very disgusting taste and i poured it all over my food so it wastoo late so i just sat there like an idiot withall of my food just laying there and the staff were problaby wondering why i didn't eat. I then took a cab from the resturant to my hotel and as soon as i got in to my room i fell on to the bedand fell asleep, so i woke up in a kind of uncomftforble position.

This was the last post from here guys tommorow i'll be going home again it has been really fun over here, but ill post another post about the diffrences between Zimbabwe and sweden.

Hwange National Park

Hey!  Back with another post, yesterday i visited Hwange National park with my relatives, we got there around 8 am, so at first we ate our breakfast we bought on our way. It was a kind of big breakfast with a lot of delicious food. So at first we got ready, packed our clothes up and all that casual things. Then we got ready to go on a boat trip a safari trip, we had a private boat for just us, we had food and other snacks, so we could enjoy our time whilst looking at rare animals. This experience i had was unbeliveable, whe saw crocodiles, apes etc. We stayed for 4 days, but something really scary happened, when me and two of my cousin's were sleeping, in our house because the guys and girls had seperated houses, well three baboons came in too hour bedroom and woke us up, we got really scared but we kept calm, then they went in to the kitchen, then we ran out, and outside there was so many baboons, we than ran to the girls house and stayed there and called the staff to get rid of the baboons.

And right now i'm in the car back to our house, and i think i'll stop blogging for now, i'll talk to you later!

måndag 23 november 2015

Hey guys! Back with another post. Today is the day, its Zimbabwes independent day, because back in the time Zimbabwe was called Rhodesia and english people had colonies and ruled the country and treated blacks very bad.

However, today im going to spend my time with my relativs learn a bit more of the idependent stuff, how it's like to live her and much more!

On their independent day, they don't celebrate as amerian people does att happy new your and other stuff. They just having a good day, spend time with their family, probably eating food and other casual stuff really.

The past four days as i told you in my first post were actually absolutley stunning, i had so much fun you can't even imagine. First of all i got to the house, and when i came there, i was suprised by a cake, because they were so happy that i came, and it made me so happy. However after that i met my cousin Kevin, he's twelve, when i started hanging out with him i thought he's only twelve, we don't have the same interests, so i got a bit bored, but he was so mature, comparing him to others he was so more respectful, he was funnier and all of that stuff, so me and kevin hanged out these days. A lot of Africans can't swim, that's because they don't have as much water as we do, they don't have the access do swim. But Kevin told me that he could swim so i got very excited, so we swam in a pool, we drank soda, played cards and talked, we had a reallt fun time.

But as i said today is the independent day, and i will tell you in the next post how it went. And to everyone who likes my blog, the next post is actually a vlog!

Have an absolutley fantastic day everyone see you tomorrow!
Whats up everyone i've finally arrived in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, when i got outside the airport i met some of my relatives, first of all i met my uncle on my fathers side, it was the first time i met him so i didn't know what to expect about it. He was very nice. Im currently at my hotel, who has a realy cool pool. However i'll talk to you tomorrow i'm gonna enjoy the day!

On my way to Zimbabwe!

Hello guys, it's a new day, last night i told you guys where I was going. I'm currently on the plane, and they just started the engines, so I'll probably write as soon we're in the air.

Hey guys, so I'm up in the air at the moment. I'm flying with SAS a Swedish Company, not my favorite but who cares, i'm so excited! I'll tell you guys about my day so far, last knight i booked a cab to arrive at my house around 7:30 am, so I went to sleep right, then I woke up around 6:30 so I had an half an hour to get ready, well I got ready and went down because I live in a apartment, so when I get to the parking lot there was no cab to be found. I was wondering what to do, I was so nervous that i would be late, but as lucky as I was the cab arrived just 3 minutes late. So I had a kind of stressful morning guys, but back to where Iwas, uh, the cab arrived at the airport at 8:20, and my flight was leaving in 9:00 am. So as said I'm on the flight right now for about 2 hours from now because I''m having a stopover in Amsterdam which is in Holland and the next flight to South Africa will leave in 3 hours so i thought that i would eat something and realx for a while. But in South Africa I'll actually spend a night in a kind of small hotel which is pretty close to the airport.

Then the next day I will finally take the flight from South Africa to Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, where I'll meet my relatives just outside the airport, and it will be so fun it's hard to even imagine.

But that's it for today guys, this journey will be the biggest one in my life so far bye!
